When I see 15 french guys and one of them dressed up like a chicken, or a lady, I realise my life is shit and my day is gonna be crap. If there is something I hate more than stag parties, is french guys in a stag party. They are loud, obnoxious, and not funny at all. And they are french, of course. Is there something on earth I could hate more than that? I can’t think of anything, at least not right now hearing them blow a fucking air horn.So what does this have to do with Rita Lee or Os Mutantes for the matter? Well, when my delicate stomach shrinks beacause a bunch of twats are driving me nuts, this song can be the song that balances all and brings back the harmony to my little universe.French stag nights are the ugly side of life, and Qualquer Bobagem is the light, the beauty, the tenderness, it’s pure love. Arnaldo’s voice stuttering is simply brilliant. And the epic beatles-esque trumpets are the zenith to a perfect chorus that, if it doesn’t move you, you have a serious problem.Os Mutantes transform ugly annoying french guys into cute and shy french and brazilian girls (which I also have at my job).
