I finally moved all my shit to the new house. What a fucking end of August. Shit was gnarly. If you have to move out from you place, chose not August to do so.
It was entertaing though, putting all my life into boxes, to open them a few days later in a new place.
My new room is pretty small, but I think I like it. The main reason why I moved there, though, is the backyard i have now. Well, more than a backyard is a patio. And have two dogs now that are still trying to get along with my two cats.
So the day I moved all my record collection, my friend, who is now my neighbour told me there is a record store next to my place. And he was not lying, it takes me around 43 seconds to get there from my house.
Of course we went to check it out, and although there are a lot of overpriced good records, there are also greats at a fair price and even cheap gems.
To start with, I bought Mudhoney’s Superfuzz Bigmuff for 11 €, Bowie’s The Man Who Sold The World, which is one of my top 5 records (named the blog after the song, of course) and which I didn’t own for whatever reason, for 8€. What I love is it’s the spanish press and the the cover reads “El Hombre Que Vendió El Mundo”.
The curious thing comes with the third record I bought. There was a small stack of new arrivals, with a lot of random stuff, including Triana’s first record, EL PATIO, which according to LAST.FM has been the record I’ve played the most these past weeks. So, the record I had been listening to the most, got to the store right by my new house, the day I bring my things, and it’s called EL PATIO, and having a patio is the main reason why I moved to this new house.
So it’s like some magical cosmic kharma connection which seems to say that I’ll find peace or something similar. Or maybe it’s just some stupid coincidence.
What makes this even more intriguing is that two days after writing this, i went back to the store, the radio was on, and this song was playing, which totally blew me away.
