I first heard Bert Jansch on the british folk comp Gather in the Mushrooms that also brings a Pentangle track, the band he played in for some years. But whenever I hear Bert Jansch I think of Nathan, a british cunt I worked with for quite some time who is a massive Jansch fan.Whenever there was not much work he’d bring his guitar and play Angie and Black Waterside over and over again to the point where I ended up not wanting to hear those songs ever again.Nathan is an asshole, but I miss working with him every now and then, although i know he misses working with me much more.One morning he told me he had this weird dream where Charles Manson was chasing to kill him and Bert Jansch was there too, I think to protect him from Charly or something, can’t remember too well, but it was not the first time Bert Jansch was in his dream.I’ll give him a call to see how he is doing, I guess he know’s Bert Jansch is dead. Which is a great loss by the way.R.I.P.
