I recently discovered Fasenuova, an electronic duo from Asturies who have been involved in the industrial, or noise or underground electronic Spanish scene for quite a while.The first listen, the band that comes to mind is Suicide, who I am a sucker for, or a much darker and dirtier Aviador Dro. All the songs on the record are pretty killer, but This one (that shares name with the record), Rojo y Ne and Vamos a Bailar a La Noche (which sounds like an outtake for Suicide’s Ghostrider) are my fave, and the first three on the record. But it doesn’t feel like it goes down from there, the other keep up with the quality, maybe not so catchy.I’ve been playing this on repeat since I downloaded it a week ago and realised it’s the sound I had in mind for my new band.
