Back from work. Busy fucking weekend. Exhausted. Can’t wait to lay down in my bed.Before I go to sleep I feel the need to share this killer. Been listening to Jo-Ann Kelly’s first Lp all weekend non-stop. I downloaded it some time ago not sure where from, but hadn’t payed much attention to it. A couple weeks ago I saw the LP on the wall of a record store and decided to give it a listen. I was immediately addicted. I’m not a big blues fan (basically because I’ve never put too much effort in investigationg), but this shit has so much soul and feeling it’s crazy. And her voice is so powerfull and deep for a white skinny british lady. I Love it!Gonna track down more records of hers and maybe start drinking whiskey on my imaginary porch.
