All The Madmen wants to clebrate summer with you all. And the best way is posting this über summer hymn.A good friend (for lack of a better word) introduced me to Exuma, this Bahamian hero. I was instantly in love, although it was not untill the second or third listen that I realised I was addicted to his traditional mystic folk. His first two records have been constantly playing here at ATM headquarters, and I’ve been debating myself on what song to post. But I guess this one captures the summer vibe better, and although not my friend’s favorite, and I guess not mine either (that would be “Mama Loi, Papa Loi”), I find this one to be the easiest way to start getting into this black master’s magical songs. If you don’t know Exuma, you don’t know what’s going on.
